Associate Portfolio for the Photographic Society of New Zealand

In July 2022, I was awarded an Associate of the Photographic Society of New Zealand. My portfolio is titled “Birds of Sea and Shore.” My aim with this collection of images is to share my passion and commitment to raising awareness of native sea and shore bird. Many of these birds are endangered or have declining populations.

This portfolio was the culmination of over a years work. I started the journey as a photographer taking photos of birds but ended up being an admiring observer, learning from the birds and the people actively involved in the behind the scenes work.
